WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
1. The participants must have completed 16 years as of the last date of application and should be not more than 30 years old as of the last date of application.
2. Indian citizens (NRIs included, provided their address given in the application and mobile number are Indian) can participate.
STAGES OF CONTEST
1. Initial Screening (online)
The Initial screening phase requires an online submission of a live video specially recorded by participant for the contest as per the guidelines (see instructions below). The video entries will be judged by a panel of experts.
2. Off-line Rounds
1. Selected participants from the initial screening will advance to the off-line rounds. The selected participants will make their way to Pune for the remaining stages of the contest, which will all take place live in front of a panel of judges.
2. There will be multiple off-line rounds, each judged by a panel of experts, that will take place across several days to arrive at the finalists.
3. Those advancing to the next rounds will stay back, and those eliminated in each off-line round can return to their homes.
4. All contestants eliminated in the off-line rounds will be given a cash consolation prize.

3. Finale
1. The Finale will also be off-line.
2. Based on the different elimination rounds off-line the finalists will be selected for a grand live performance in front of the judges. 'Three Male' and 'Three Female' Winners will be declared in the Finale as follows:

Note: All off-line rounds prior to the Finale will be closed contests (by invitation only). However the Finale may be open to public.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. For Application Process
1. Every participant will have to register online on this portal before last date of application.
2. Participation Fees:
a. ₹1,200 (inclusive of GST) applies to all participants, regardless of category.
b. Fee is to be paid online through credit cards, debit cards, QR codes, UPI, etc., facilitated by our secured payment gateway.
c. The fee is mandatory for all participants without any exception.
d. A complementary paperback copy of the book ‘Raag Sarita’ by Pandit C.R. Vyas (Gunijaan) worth M.R.P Rs 400/- will be dispatched at the address by courier/post to the participant.
3. Along with participant fees, participant will have to provide following information for registration:
a. Name
b. Photo (Accepted Formats: JPEG, PNG, File Size: up to 1MB, Image Size: 35mm * 45mm (Width & Height))
c. Date of Birth
d. Gender
e. Address
f. Scanned copy of Photo ID (Aadhaar/ PAN/ Passport/ Voter ID), size limit is Min. 100 to Max. 300 DPI or Upto 2 MB
g. Alternate contact number, name
h. Name of Guru
i. Years of Training
j. Name of your vocal Gharana
k. Video link
m. Name of the raag and the selected bandish .
4. Participants will be notified by email or through login on portal only.
2. Initial Screening (Video Submission)
1. Performance duration: The live presentation must last between 7 to 10 minutes. The adherence to time frame is mandatory.
2. Content: Bandish is to be any composition of Pandit C.R. Vyas selected from the book ‘Raag Sarita’, which will be sent by courier to each confirmed participant. Entries not following these guidelines will be disqualified
3. Accompaniments:
a. Live tabla accompaniment is Mandatory.
b. One live acoustic tanpura is recommended.
c. Use of electronic tanpura is allowed.
d. Harmonium or sarangi or swarmandal accompaniment is optional.
e. No other melodic instruments are permitted.
4. Video Requirements
a. MUST be shot in landscape orientation. High-quality video (minimum 720p resolution) where all elements are clearly visible, is mandatory.
b. Accompanists should be clearly visible in full video.
c. Use of professional grade microphone is permitted but audio and video must be recorded live without any post-recording edits. Dubbing is NOT allowed over video.
d. Upload Platform:  Upload your video to your personal YouTube channel as an 'UNLISTED VIDEO' only. Do NOT make visibility as Private or Public.
e. YouTube video title: It should be as follows
Participant Name – Raag Name – Bandish Name
Accompanist name while not mandatory, we appreciate a mention of the accompanist's name in the video description to acknowledge their contribution.
f. Privacy:  Do not share link of the video publicly until the contest results are announced. Doing so may result in immediate disqualification
g. Submission:  Copy the link into the designated field in the application form. Verify the link before submission.
h. Finality: No changes to the video link or content will be accepted after submission.
i. Do NOT DELETE video until final winners are announced.
3. Off-line Rounds
1.Venue: Selected participants make their way to city of Pune, Maharashtra (specific dates will be communicated) to perform live. Cost of travel to Pune and stay is to be borne by contestants.
2. Accompaniment: Tabla and harmonium accompanists will be provided by organisers for all the participants.
3. Awards Ceremony: Awards ceremony will be organised in Pune/Mumbai in November 2024. Dates to be declared soon.
